ATLANTIC OCEAN (Feb. 12, 2018) Sailors signal for an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Fighting Checkmates" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 211 to launch from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). Truman is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which evaluates the strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea, ultimately certifying the Harry S.
