Service members of the U.S. military are constructing this new clinic here, June 19, as they work in conjunction with the 2011 New Horizons Task Force. This clinic is scheduled to be completed in August 2011. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian training exercise between the Suriname government and the U.S. Southern Command helping improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
