MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 5, 2018) U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Alexander Pagel, an aviation mechanic assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 162 Reinforced (REIN), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) receives an award during a Corporal’s Course graduation aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) March 5, 2018. The four-week long course teaches Marines the embodiment and responsibilities of being a Non-Commissioned Officer and allows the Marines to improve their education and professional development while deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
