Shoup, a motor transport operator with the 377th Transportation Company from Fort Bliss, Texas, has been conducting these kinds of missions for the past 10 months. The primary mission of the 377th is to help facilitate the responsible drawdown and withdraw of U.S. forces in Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn.
