CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Sgt. Maj. Peter Siaw stands at attention while Brig. Gen. Paul Rock Jr. pin the Legion of Merit gold star onto his uniform during a relief and appointment ceremony March 27 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Siaw received the Legion of Merit gold star in lieu of a second award for his outstanding conduct of service as the sergeant major of Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D.
