CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Brig. Gen. Paul Rock Jr. salutes during the Marine Corps Installations Pacific relief and appointment ceremony March 27 at Building 1 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. Sgt. Maj. Peter Siaw was relieved of his duty as sergeant major of Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler and Marine Corps Installations Pacific by Sgt. Maj. Vincent Young. Siaw received the Legion of Merit gold star in lieu of a second award during the ceremony for outstanding conduct of service as the sergeant major of MCIPAC-MCBB.
