U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers have expended more than 500,000 total rounds as of March 26, 2018, during Task Force Triad with two months left in the training exercise taking place at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Task Force Triad is a mounted gunnery training exercise in which Soldiers work as truck teams to quailfy on live-fire driving lanes. Task Force Triad runs from February to May. Each team who trains here completes a 14-day cycle that includes primary marksmanship training, a gunner skill test, digital simulated gunnery, ground qualification and finally ending in a live-fire driving qualification course.
