Pfc. Ana Mata, a U.S. Army Reserve automated logistics specialist, with the 812th Quartermaster Company, out of Kingsville, Texas, stands in the rain waiting for chow during Operation Cold Steel at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, March 26, 2018. This iteration of Cold Steel is called Task Force Triad, a mounted gunnery training exercise in which Soldiers work as truck teams to quailfy on live-fire driving lanes. Task Force Triad runs from February to May. Each team who trains here completes a 14-day cycle that includes primary marksmanship training, a gunner skill test, digital simulated gunnery, ground qualification and finally ending in a live-fire driving qualification course.
