This iteration of Cold Steel is called Task Force Triad, a mounted gunnery training exercise in which Soldiers work as truck teams to quailfy on live-fire driving lanes. Task Force Triad runs from February to May. Each team who trains here completes a 14-day cycle that includes primary marksmanship training, a gunner skill test, digital simulated gunnery, ground qualification and finally ending in a live-fire driving qualification course.
