AUGUSTA BAY, Italy (April 7, 2018) Marines assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) present colors during a change of command ceremony April 7, 2018. During the ceremony Capt. Todd Vandegrift was relieved by Capt. Brent DeVore as commanding officer of New York. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
