AUGUSTA BAY, Italy (April 7, 2018) Marines assigned to 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21) observe as Capt. Brent Devore, relieves Capt. Todd Vandegrift as commanding officer of New York during a change of command ceremony April 7, 2018. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
