Craig Boettcher of 23rd Squadron, Raafa Base, Amberley, and Australian army Lt. Col. (chaplain) Phil Anderson of Headquarters 17 Combat Support Squadron Brigade, Randwich, Sydney, share a conversation after a Methodist service for sailors on board the forward-deployed amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown. Boettcher and Anderson visited the ship during exercise Talisman Sabre 2011 to tour and minister to sailors and Marines. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating in Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral command post and field training exercise designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between U.S. and Australian forces.
