USS Germantown sailors and embarked Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit move cases of Gatorade during a vertical replenishment with the dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Richard E. Byrd. Germantown, commanded by Cmdr. A.D. Hull, is participating with the 31st MEU in exercise Talisman Sabre 2011, a bilateral exercise intended to enhance planning and readiness between the U.S. and Australian forces.
