The exhibit of U.S. Army World War I Soldier, Gunner First Class Angelo A. Rizzo of the 59th Artillery, Coastal Artillery Corps, is available for viewing at the Harbor Defense Museum at Fort Hamilton, New York, seen here May 9, 2018. Justin Batt, director of the Harbor Defense Museum, wanted to honor Rizzo’s service and said he hoped to inspire currently serving Soldiers with the display. As the U.S. Army celebrates its 243rd Birthday June 14, 2018, it will also celebrate the efforts of Soldiers like Rizzo by commemorating the 100-year anniversary of America’s involvement in World War I.
