The U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard presents the National Ensign and the U.S. Marine Corps Colors at the 50th anniversary reunion of 1st Battalion, 27th Marine Regiment July 21 in Alexandria, Va. Cpl. Stephen E. Austin was posthumously awarded the Navy Cross after he sacrificed himself for his fellow Marines in Vietnam.
