Brain Groves, a mortarman also with 2-325th, are plotting their aiming points in preparation to fire at a practice range outside Al-Asad Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 15. Eversmeyer is from Pacific, Mo., and Groves hails from Oxford, Maine. With a long history of supporting U.S. military operations in Iraq, the 2/82 and its paratroopers are enabling the withdraw of U.S. military forces in Iraq.
