Paratroopers with 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division’s 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, perfect their mortar firing skills at a practice range outside Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 15. The paratroopers are conducting their semi-annual mortar certification. With a long history of supporting U.S. military operations in Iraq, the 2/82 and its paratroopers are enabling the withdraw of U.S. military forces in Iraq.
