Major Courtney Bird, 236th BEB S3 Operations Officer, and Major Joel Pierce, 236th Brigade Engineer Battalion (BEB) Executive Officer, greet Brig. Gen. Igor Cutie, Chief of Moldova National Army General Staff, Commander of the National Army. Cutie had the opportunity to see first hand what his Soldiers, imbedded within the different units of the 30th Armored Brigade, are training across their different fields of expertise. 95 Moldovan Soldiers are participating in the 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team’s eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise in Fort Bliss, Texas from August 6-28, 2018.The Moldova Armed Forces has been a State Partnership Program partner with the North Carolina National Guard since 1996.
