POTI, Georgia (Aug. 18, 2018) U.S. Army Soldiers from Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division wait aboard the Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport ship USNS Carson City (T-EPF 7) as the ship departs Poti, Georgia, Aug. 18, 2018. Carson City is the seventh of nine expeditionary fast transport ships in Military Sealift Command's inventory with a primary mission of providing rapid transport of military equipment and personnel in theater via its 20,000 square foot reconfigurable mission bay area and seating for 312 passengers.
