Borden, a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery non-commissioned officer augmentee, screens soil alongside local workers during a recovery mission on Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands, July 27, 2018. During the recovery mission, DPAA personnel and augmentees spent their days digging and screening in hopes of finding missing U.S. Marines lost during the first allied offensive in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
