A flight crew from the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade’s C Company, 1-52 General Support Aviation Battalion and Soldiers from the Washington Army National Guard’s Special Operations Detachment – Pacific trained Royal Thai Army rangers on air medivac procedures Aug. 23 during Hanuman Guardian 2018. The training was part of a four-day tactical combat casualty care class between the SOD-P Soldiers and the rangers. More than 500 U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Royal Thai Army Soldiers are participating in the 11-day bilateral exercise that demonstrates the U.S. and Kingdom of Thailand’s commitment to its longstanding alliance while also strengthening the capabilities of both forces.
