U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class James Nichols, a native of St. Louis, assigned to Battery C, 1st Battalion, Task Force Blackhawk, prepares the serving line for the upcoming meal Oct. 8 at Combat Outpost Waza Khwa. The dining facility serves around 250 customers per meal off of this single serving line. Nichols, and his team of two other soldiers, take pride in serving hot meals three times a day instead of one with Meals Ready to Eat to supplement.
