NORFOLK (Sept. 15, 2018) Sailors and aircraft assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 return to Naval Station Norfolk after embarking the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) in anticipation of Hurricane Florence. MH-60 Seahawk helicopters from the "Dusty Dogs" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7, return to Naval Station Norfolk, where they will be better postured to provide land-based rotary wing Defense Support of Civil Authorities if required in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Abraham Lincoln remains underway after Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command ordered all U.S. Navy ships in the Hampton Roads area to sortie on Sept. 10, ahead of the storm, which continues to bring high winds and rain to the Mid-Atlantic coast.
