A U.S. Army OH-58 Kiowa crew provides air cover for members of the U.S. Army 2nd Squad, 38th Cavalry, Fort Hood, Texas as they conduct a foot patrol to clear a draw in the mountains near Spin Boldak, Afghanistan, Oct. 12, 2011. The OH-58 coordinates air support with U.S. Air Force Joint Terminal Attack Controller, Senior Airman Cristobal Galindo, 807th Expeditionary Air Support Squadron, who controls all air assets support patrol.
