Soldiers from the 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Ohio Army National Guard stand near the village of Avocourt, France, Aug. 6, 2018. In the fields behind the Soldiers, the 37th Division jumped off on the morning of Sept. 25, 1918, as the center of the V Corps during the Meuse-Argonne Campaign. A group of current Soldiers from the 37th traveled to France and Belgium Aug. 3-9 as part of the U.S. Army’s World War I Centennial Commemoration.
