SAN DIEGO-- Rev. Michelle Kirby, supervisor of the Clinical Pastoral Education program, Capt. Mil Yi, chaplain for Navy Medicine West, and Lt. Cmdr. Jon Rozema, Pastoral Care Residency Program Manager at Naval Medical Center San Diego present Lt. Cmdr. Chad Hamilton with his certificate of completion during a graduation ceremony for resident Department of Defense and Veteran's Administration chaplains who had completed the year-long Clinical Pastoral Education Residency Program at the San Diego VA Medical Center. The program, which is a joint DoD/VA enterprise, incorporates more than 1,600 hours of instruction and supervised clinical practice to help chaplains specialize in clinical pastoral care.
