A U.S Air Force KC-135 boom operator assigned to the 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron performs a pre flight check of the boom controls before a aerial refueling mission to refuel aircraft over Iraq, Sept. 28, 2018. The KC-135 provides aerial refueling to U.S. and coalition forces in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, the NATO Resolute Support Mission and Operation Freedom's Sentinel.
