A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned with the 157th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, maneuvers into position to receive fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker during an aerial refueling mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve over Iraq, Sept. 28, 2018. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to surface attack. It can locate targets in all weather conditions and detect low flying aircraft in radar ground clutter. U.S. Air Forces Central Command delivers airpower, develops relationships and defends the region in support of U.S. Central Command military objectives. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
