A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the 157th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, flies along the right side of a KC-135 Stratotanker during an aerial refueling mission in support of Operation Inherent Resolve over Iraq, Sept. 28, 2018. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to surface attack. U.S. Air Forces Central Command employs full-spectrum air component capabilities in air, space and cyberspace to defeat enemies while promoting security and stability in the region.
