Douglas Moye, a 773d Logistics Readiness Squadron combat mobility technician supervisor, checks an M-1 parachute release timing block used for heavy cargo platform parachutes at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 3, 2018. An arming wire sets the timing blocks off, once the timer hits zero it releases the parachute connector links from the M-1 parachute release system.
