PORT OF SUVA, Fiji (Oct. 14, 2018) Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 2nd Class Dylan Maynard and Cryptologic Technician (Technical) 3rd Class Natalie Maness man the rails on the weather decks of Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) while the ship pulls into the Port of Suva for a port visit Oct. 14, 2018. Shoup is currently participating in the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) program, a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
