U.S. soldiers from Company C, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Task Force Duke, Task Force Thor hold their American flags and awards for winning the Thor Warrior Challenge at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Nov. 5. The Thor Warrior Challenge is a grueling physical fitness competition done in full combat gear that includes, among many other things, a push-ups and sit-ups contest and a two-mile run carrying full ammunition cans.
