181029-N-GC129-0028 YOKOSE, Japan (October 29, 2018) Cmdr. Greta Densham, commanding officer of Naval Beach Unit (NBU) 7, and Chief Warrant Officer Will Dispolo, maintenance officer of NBU 7, speak with Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly council members at the Yokose landing craft air cushion (LCAC) facility. Council members were invited to the Yokose facility for an LCAC brief, facility tour, and to observe LCAC operations. NBU 7 serves as the training and readiness command for LCACs, landing craft utilities, and beach party teams forward-deployed in Japan.
