181029-N-GC129-0072 YOKOSE, Japan (October 29, 2018) A Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly council member tours a landing craft air cushion (LCAC) assigned to Navy Beach Unit (NBU) 7 during a demonstration at the Yokose LCAC Facility. Council members were invited to the Yokose facility for an LCAC brief, facility tour, and to observe LCAC operations. NBU 7 serves as the training and readiness command for LCACs, landing craft utilities, and beach party teams forward-deployed in Japan.
