    Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Allen Yabut (right) unpacks medical supplies and hands them off to Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Crystal Ruff, at the beginning of a Medical Civic Action Project at Kaum Purnah Elementary School. Medical, dental, and veterinary teams made-up from a variety of Philippines and United States commands and services will provide healthcare for the local community during the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) exercise series. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asia nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
