ATLANTIC OCEAN (Nov. 5, 2018) Sailors participate in a damage control drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) while conducting the first East Coast carrier strike group (CSG) cruiser-destroyer (CRUDES) Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality and interoperability of participating units.
