Paratroopers from the advance party of the 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, march into a welcome home ceremony held at Pope Army Airfield, N.C., Nov. 8, upon redeploying from Operation New Dawn, Iraq. As the last unit in Baghdad, the 2/82 has been responsible for enabling the withdrawal of U.S. Military Forces and the transition of U.S. relations with Iraq to the U.S. State Department.
