Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, November 17, 2018 – Debris lays scattered on the ground after Super Typhoon Yutu made landfall, leaving many residents without power, shelter, food, or access to clean water. The Humanitarian tent (back right) is a housing option that was built in to the Commonwealth’s Catastrophic Typhoon Plan, which are being distributed to residents impacted by the disaster to be used as a temporary home to aid their recovery. FEMA staff are deployed to the islands of Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and Guam to help the Commonwealth deliver aid to those affected by the disaster. Grace Simoneau/FEMA
