WTB’s nursing case manager orientation and preceptorship program ensures consistency and promotes quality care for soldiers assigned to the WTB. WTB nurses, according to Peggy Thomas (center) have a unique mission, unlike anything else in the Army. Training lasts about two months, including 40 hours of online training specific to WTB documentation and care plans. With Thomas are 1st Lt. Frank Deffes and Pfc. Gene Hubert.
