Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) personnel prepare to lower a transfer case containing possible remains of unidentified U.S. service members from the Battle at Tarawa from a C-20G Gulfstream IV aircraft during an honorable carry, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Nov. 20, 2018. The contents of the transfer case will be examined by forensic anthropologists and forensic odontologists at the DPAA skeletal identification laboratory.
