Members of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) render honors to a flag-covered case with possible remains of unidentified U.S. service members from the Battle of Tarawa, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Nov. 20, 2018. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the battle on the island of Betio of the Tarawa Atoll in what is now the Republic of Kiribati.
