Dancers perform wearing traditional costumes symbolizing various animals and elements of nature during the Okinawan Dance Appreciation Night hosted by Marine Corps Community Services at the Fine Arts Appreciation Theater on Camp Foster Nov. 25. The crane, turtle, bamboo, plum blossom and pine are thought to bring happiness and longevity. The plum blossom is thought to bring beauty as well.
