(Dec. 18, 2018) Chief Equipment Operator Daniel Romero, from Riddle, Ore., and Construction Mechanic 1st Class Joshua James, from San Antonio, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Det. San Clemente Island, stage tubes of explosives next to blasting holes during blasting operations. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
