An annual, two-week field exercise, Operation Bushmaster, is designed to test the skills of students from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. The field exercise takes place each year in October at Fort Indiantown Gap, an Army National Guard training center north of Harrisburg, PA. It's designed to enhance the student operation experience, immersing them in a simulated combat environment, and is also the final exam for the university's fourth-year medical students.
