Complete with mock explosions and reality-based missions, Operation Bushmaster puts students from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences to the test. The annual two-week field exercise takes place in October at Fort Indiantown Gap, an Army National Guard training center north of Harrisburg, PA. It's designed to enhance the student operation experience, immersing them in a simulated combat environment. It's also the final exam for the university's fourth-year medical students.
