As Nursing Services business manager, Lt. Cmdr. Jonathan Levenson managed a $2 million budget in support of 13 inpatient units, ensuring the purchase of needed equipment with a cost avoidance of $100,000. He also managed the funds for mission-critical travel. He assumed the role of command fitness leader mid-cycle, seamlessly integrating himself into the department, and he improved facilitation of the next physical readiness cycle and the Fitness Enhancement Program. As sub-area coordinator for the 2018 Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Active Duty Fund Drive campaign, Levenson led a team of 50 personnel who successfully contacted 3,700 active-duty personnel throughout 10 commands, resulting in more than $71,000 in donations.
