Children wrote letters to Santa Claus and mailed them in a special mail box that delivered the letters to the North Pole Dec. 10, at the Family Readiness Program building, during Parents' Day Out. This event is one of many December kids events FRP is hosting this month. Parents' Day Out allowed parents a four-hour window to take care of holiday errands while their children enjoyed arts and crafts. The other events to come are Tell Me a Story, L.I.N.K.S. for Kids, a safety stand down for children, and New Year, New Me. These events will be going on Dec. 20 through Dec. 22.
