YAP, Federated States of Micronesia (Dec. 11, 2018) – A Yap Police Officer is handcuffed during a noncompliant handcuffing techniques practical application class taught by U.S. Marines with Law Enforcement Detachment, Task Force Koa Moana, at the Yap Sports Complex Center, Dec. 11. The Law Enforcement detachment conducted this training to boost the knowledge of the Yap Police Force in hopes to strengthen their abilities to stop crime on the island of Yap. Koa Moana conducted training as part of the Task Force's continued multilateral engagements designed to strengthen and enhance relationships among the United States and partner nations in the Indo-Pacific and South Pacific regions.
