190117-M-QR315-0013 PACIFIC OCEAN (Jan. 17, 2019) Australian Army Brigadier Shane Gabriel, DSC, Military Attaché to the Australian Embassy, Washington, D.C. boards the USS Boxer (LHD 4) to conduct a tour of the ship, Jan. 17, 2019. The purpose of the tour was to familiarize Brigadier S. L. Gabriel (DSC) with the capabilities of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Amphibious Ready Group FIVE (CPR-5), as well as visit the two Australian exchange officers serving with the 11th MEU. The Marines and Sailors of the 11th MEU are conducting routine operations as a part of USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in the eastern Pacific Ocean. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
