A Philippine Air Force communication specialist from the 950th Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Group practices using a pocket transit to align satellites during Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, January 30, 2019. The bilateral exchange conducted with U.S. Air Force communication personnel from the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Directorate of Air and Cyberspace Operations and the 291st Combat Communications Squadron included a demonstration of how to operate and install a satellite terminal as well as how to extend network services from a home base to an austere location. This is the seventh iteration of BACE-P established by U.S. Pacific Command and executed by Headquarters PACAF. These bilateral exchanges increase interoperability and deepen relationships between the two allied air forces. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Rachel Maxwell)
